The caves are surrounded by a desert and rocky landscape in which numerous caverns exist. They are an extensísima series of galleries with an antiquity of 500 thousand years. They possess a total length of 300 m and a maximum depth of 105 meters. During prehistoric epochs they were plunged under the sea, because of it in his parts can be observed remains of marine fossils, as shells and snails.
It is possible to accede to them by means of a teleférico, which after an ascent of 80 m goes at the entry to the caves. In his interior one finds illuminated a gallery that consists of 16 scenes. Balconies of 34 m allow a complete sight of the gallery.

His impressive rocky formations fill the space of the caves called lounges. The guides offer interesting comments on the local history and offer imaginative explanations on the names started to the capricious figures formed by the stalactites and stalagmites esculpidas for the nature.
